Isiah Jamal Johnstone Hodshon.

Born on the 3rd of March 2001 in Port Augusta to Leticia Hewett (née Johnstone) and Chris Hodshon. Isiah is the middle child having an older brother Montel and a younger sister Shontaine.
Isiah also inherited more siblings when Leticia married Neil, Ryan Mesecke and Jade Hewett. Isiah also inherited 3 more sisters when Chris and Andrea started their lives together, Grace, Katelyn and Jasmine.
Isiah was born 4 weeks premature via Caesarean section at birth he weighed 5 pound 6.5 ounces when he was 5 months old he started getting chubby so he got the nickname Tubby, which stuck with him.
As a young child, was mischievous. He would pull pranks on people he was always good for a laugh, I remember him always punching people in the private area when they walked into the room, so most of the blokes would cover their family jewels. Somethings he did wasn’t as funny but to him they were.
In November 2013 Isiah was diagnosed with rheumatic fever which lead him to being in hospital for a month on complete bed rest and monthly penicillin injections (which he was supposed to have for the next 20 years) the cardiologist discovered that isiah had a heart murmur and leaky valve, within a year his heart was back to 100% healed.
No matter how much Isiah was in pain or struggling with this illness he always maintained a happy and positive attitude.
He often loved to hang with his mates after school sometimes at their houses, sometimes he hung with mates during school hours in places that weren’t his classroom
Isiah loved all his family would spend as time as possible with them, he wished our families would be together the way they used were before his grandma passed away.
Although he never started a family of his own or got to meet the girl of his dreams he lived with his brothers family for a while helping where he could to raise his nieces and nephew as if they were his own he would have been an amazing father if he had been given the chance
Isiah is a doting uncle to Akarsha, Elektra, Ryder, Allora and Sharmayne he spent as much time as he possibly could with his nieces and nephews, he even lived with montel and Holly while they were pregnant with Allora until he decided to move back into the family home in Stirling North
In 2019 just after he turned 18 years old Isiah was chosen by the Rheumatic Heart Foundation to be an ambassador and became a champion4change and went to Darwin for a conference with other people who had the same illness as him.
Isiah loved music from his teen years onwards he always wanted to write music and release his own songs. Last year the starlight foundation contacted him and helped him with his wish to get recording materials, laptop, programs and other useful things for him to write songs and make his own music. Sometime this year he completed a song called levels. He also had a website for his music to promote himself. His music name is nxbxdy tha gxd which stood for “ I’m nxbxdy always have been always will be nxbxdy tha gxd (me) is the embodiment of a god complex made up of doubt and negativity when you feel like nobody love you or nobody understands etc I’m the nxbxdy that does”
he is the best person to talk to if you needed advice he is the one to talk to it’s like he always knew what to say even if he knew nothing about what you were talking about he just knew the right things to say to make you think logically and feel good even though sometimes he found it hard to take his own advice he is stubborn Regardless of that Isiah is such a beautiful soul and touched many lives without even knowing them he made everyone’s day even if you had a bad day all you need is to be around Isiah and he would make your day brighter and happier.
he is the life of the party, He always made his presence known to homes when he walked in the door either with his burps or just random noises.
He was always the first one to crack a joke even if it wasn’t funny to anyone else he didn’t care..
Isiah always found a way to find his way into peoples lives, even family he never knew. He has a heart of gold and always cared about other people more then himself.
At the end of March this year Isiah flew over to Sydney to spend Easter with his Aunty Tamika and his cousins, he spent a month over there helping out and making her smile.
30 may 2021 Isiah’s life was tragically taken at the age of 20years old making this world feel empty
He will greatly missed by all his family and friends
In the words of Isiah “it’s a you problem not a me problem”
